Fine FindsBack in March this was a hit:

One of our fave Yaletown stores is the aptly named Fine Finds. An absolute treasure trove stuffed with little gifts and treats for our friends and our selves. Funky jewelry. Super-cool jeans. Foxy little tops. And all at non-Yaletowny prices. Right now, their shelves are busting with incredible new purses that are just the thing to launch your wardrobe into spring. We don’t know if they’re leather, they sure look like it but at these prices who cares?

First to catch our eye was a huge grassy green criss-cross patterned bag with brass studs, $66. Then there’s the large semicircle shape in bright yellow. On its own, it’s a show-stopper but picture what happens when it’s blinged up with gold-thread flowers and sequins. Major razzle dazzle and only $67. For quieter impact, try a simple almond green purse with elegant silver handles, $54.

Style and sass apart (and these bags have plenty) they’re also spacious enough to stash all your usual purse things, and shopping—or even a change of T-shirt and undies, and your toothbrush (we won’t ask why). All go tidily in the big drawstring purse the colour of pearlized peach frappe to do it, $74.

If you’re into the currently cool “made by loving hands at home” look, check out a cream covered purse dripping with mother-of-pearl buttons and pastel pearls. It even has a hint of crochet, $93. Crochet fans can cozy up to a bag made entirely from cream crochet-look fabric, glitzed up with wide gold bands that combine with gold chain to make the handles ($40). Big? This could hold your pet pooch.
