Monsters are invading our city and we couldn't be happier.

The Little Fiends are the strange and wonderful hand-stitched spawn of local designer Chandra whose bizarre creations will capture your heart. . . and possibly corrupt it. Described as "poorly behaved monsters," these unorthodox creatures are available to purchase as collectibles, stuffed monsters, pins, stickers and T-shirts.

They're all adorable in their own, um, unique way. There's the Drunken Princess, never at a loss for a cuss word. Bump-a-gump, he of the wandering paws. And Hortensia, diva of the Mexican band of Little Fiends whose legendary tantrums have brought her a lot of attention via their online tabloid.

Reading about the Little Fiends on their website and all their bitter rivalries and tragic character flaws is a hilarious way to pass the time. You'll quickly want to add one or more of them to your home. Imagine the looks you'll get when you explain that your cute little blue stuffed animal is actually Javier, an alcohol-swilling karaoke fan who dances on top of tables to pick up girls. Priceless.
