We continue our Best of 2007 countdown with this next contender. This was very popular in December.

Okay, we admit it, we’ve got a passion for fashion.  So when Mavi Jeans opened their new Gastown location, we were there with bells on.  

We love the hot coloured denim they’ve got lined up for Spring 2008, but unfortunately we’ll have to wait for that.  In the meantime, we bought a pair of the Olivia jeans and the skinny Lindy jeans to carry us through winter.

Founded in Istanbul in 1991, Mavi, which means blue in Turkish, is known for their high quality and great fitting denim.  These guys sell 7,000,000 pairs of jeans a year at more than 4600 specialty stores, better department stores and specialty chains stores in 50 countries.  So they’re obviously doing something right. . .
