‘Tis the season to get tipsy, and to celebrate the fact, Vancouver’s R&B Brewing Company has brought back “Auld Nick” to a liquor store near you. The limited edition, seasonal winter ale is strong enough to warm your bones - and the rest of you - on the chilliest of days with its rich, dark, mellow flavour. R&B has produced only 60 cases of the brew, so zip over to the booze store if you want a taste of this hand-crafted goodness whose malts and hops come all the way from England. If you prefer tippling in public, Auld Nick will also be on tap at the Railway Club, Aqua Riva, Central Bistro, Boneta and other bars and restaurants around town throughout December.
