HOT PICKS [FRIDAY]

Doing What Comes Naturally

September 14, 2007

Capers Markets stages a weekend of food, fun and music at the 12th Annual Living Naturally Fair on Robson St. There’s a mix of growers, minstrels, and fresh local food, along with a few surprises. Chefs will demonstrate different cooking techniques, using natural, organic ingredients. Musicians such as DNA 6, Jess Vaira, and Bobs and Lolo will wander the grounds. “Appetizing Alley” is devoted to tasty treats for everyone.

Last year, the Fair raised over $42,000 for charity. This year, funds go towards My Own Back Yard (MOBY), a non-profit society dedicated to community garden projects in the vicinity of Commercial Drive.

Where: Capers Robson Parking Lot, 1675 Robson St, www.capersmarkets.com
When: September 15th and 16th, all day

Have you entered this week's Contest? You could win to two tickets to Cudamani at the Chan Centre and a copy of their new CD. And will they be as spectacular as promised in yesterday's Vancouver Trendz?
