Yaletown’s fashionable boutiques and high-end restaurants retire from the spotlight just for the afternoon this Saturday as the 2007 Heineken Yaletown Street Party kicks into high gear.

Fashionistas (and their tiny dogs) will have to make room on Hamilton and Mainland for a display of more than 100 specialty cars, a live music stage and oodles of street entertainment. On tap is a Heineken Beer Garden with the city’s coolest DJs spinning hot tunes into the evening. We wouldn’t want to miss the Battle of the Bartenders and the celebrity chef chili cook-off, the dog agility show (purse dogs admitted) and a BMX bike show. Cheers!
