The Montblanc diamond jewelry collection was launched this past February at the foot of Mont Blanc in Chamonix, France at an ice palace made of crystal clear ice blocks from Sweden. Called “The Night of Stars”, the fête attracted the likes of Lucy Liu, Naomi Watts, Jerry Hall and Juliette Binoche. Top models presented the collection, with Naomi Campbell showcasing a necklace and earrings worth almost 4,000,000 USD.

There are four lines in the collection – Magie en Blanc et Noir, La Dame Blanche, Étoile Secrète (pieces in this line have secret compartments where personal messages can be engraved) and Montblanc 4810, which uses the Montblanc signature star shape and is named for the 4810m height of Mont Blanc mountain. Rumour has it that prices range in stores from $500 to $20,000.

The only Montblanc boutique in Canada is in Toronto, but in the internet age, that makes it right around the corner.
