Stuck On You

Adhesif clothing really stands out in a crowd. Bright and full of personality, Melissa Ferreira's fab creations show off colours and shapes you don't usually see in Vancouver’s bland sea of business suits and yoga pants.

Maybe its Ferreira's reliance on recycled vintage fabrics that creates the sense of surprise you get with every glimpse of her clothing. Maybe it's the fact they're all one-of-a-kind. That means never having to worry about embarrassing run-ins with any fashion doubles at a party.

Although, everyone is going to want to get a piece from the new spring/summer 2007 designs from Adhesif. Pushing old favourites into new territory with her style and playful sensibility, Ferreira has produced some real beauties.

We like the "Comma" cardigans, made from a jumble of recycled sweaters and finished with cute oversized buttons. And definitely get your hands on the "Little Miss" outfit, featuring shorts and a Bolero jacket stitched together with unique fabric juxtapositions that makes our new sunny weather even brighter.
