With the official start date of spring just a few weeks away and a warmth to the air we haven’t felt since summer, you’re no doubt itching to cast off those boots and leggings and woolies and leap into the lighter fashion of the season - and perhaps land on cloud 9!

This spring, it’s all about escapism as you wake up your wardrobe with wild colours like pansy purple, pumpkin orange, eye-popping fuscia, and lemon yellow. Flirty frocks, toga-style gowns, and harem pants, inspired by ancient history and wood nymphs, bloom with bold flowers, foliage, and fairy prints.

For the diehard retro crowd, be on the lookout for ‘70s inspired high-waisted pants, bell bottoms, and - dare we say it - caftans and leisure suits. Gender benders will love the tuxedo-style suits, boyfriend blazers, and even bowties and cummerbunds, that have been gracing runways this year.
 
If you prefer feminine - really feminine - looks, slip on lingerie-like pieces with bows, lace, ribbons, and boning. Just keep in mind that most lingerie is transparent - so you just might want to throw one of those boyfriend blazers over that gossamer teddy.
