Cartier has a whole new concept, in a whole new space, just 58 steps from their old home on Howe. You must see it, even if you are ‘just looking.’ They’ve almost tripled their retail space and the inside doesn’t disappoint – high ceilings, sand-blasted oak finely finished by mill workers from Italy, 10 foot chandeliers from Venice, a library, relaxing areas to sit and ponder a purchase, and counters with fibre-optic lighting. Gorgeous. And we haven’t even started on the jewels yet. . .

We’re particularly smitten with the LOVE Charity Bracelet. Eight Hollywood celebs are working with Cartier, using the bracelets to promote a charity of their choice. The colour of the silk bracelet cords indicates the charity. So if your valentine’s gift didn’t live up to her expectations, surprise her with a little bibelot - just because. It’s bound to get you back into her good books. And you can always say you did it for a great cause.

The cost: $540.00 and $100 of that goes to the charity.
