BRAND NEW [WEDNESDAY]

Sweeeeeeeeet

February 13, 2008

It might just be the smallest menu in town.  But big on taste?  Don’t get us started. . .

The newly opened Café Medina, right next door to Chambar Belgian restaurant on Beatty Street, is one hot and happening snack spot.  The menu consists of waffles with a multitude of toppings, fruit, granola, baklava and smoothies.  We know what you’re thinking. . . We too wondered, will we find sustenance among these meager offerings?

Then we took our first bite.  And it was love at first lick.  Picture this: delicate, fluffy, sent-from-heaven waffles drenched in lavender milk chocolate or blueberry vanilla compote or raspberry caramel or pistachio white chocolate - to name a few of the delectable toppings on offer.

Need we say more?
