Brand New [WEDNESDAY]

Yum in your Tum

Wednesday, January 17, 2007

Loads of new spots for good eats have opened along Robson Street lately.  Our new favourite is Next NoodleNext Noodle Bar Bar.  They serve up a scrumptious mix of Thai and Cantonese food.  The noodles are made fresh daily, the old-fashioned way, and the food is fresh, tasty, and generously portioned.

The room is spacious and modern.  The booths and tables are spotless.  The food is excellent.  There’s not much more to say, other than this little tip, and you can thank us later - even though you might pass it up given the choices on the menu - try the House Fried Rice.  It’s incredible – lots of egg, pork, scallop and shrimp,  in fact the shrimp is the best we’ve had in a fried rice, ever.

Here’s to full and happy bellies, everywhere.

Next Noodle Bar, 560 Robson Street, 604-681-6398.

And tomorrow in Vancouver Trendz we've got balls, and they fizz (but it's not what you think, really!) and this week's contest is for tickets to see legendary Mississippi bluesman Pinetop Perkins at the Yale.
