Who doesn’t know that infamous little blue box with the white silk ribbon? Plush.

While the flagship store may be in NYC, the new, swish Tiffany & Co. on the corner of Burrard and Alberni definitely adds a touch more glamour to our fair city.

These folks are one of the most famous jewelers in the world for a reason.  Even the walls are gorgeous – that classic Tiffany’s rich glossy brown that shimmers wherever the light hits it.  And don’t get us started on product.  Okay, okay. . . we can’t help ourselves. Engagement diamonds; jewels nestled in platinum and eighteen-karat gold; rare and lustrous pearls; fashion jewelry; watches and our fave  - The Gehry Collection, created by celebrated architect Frank Gehry.  The shape – dare we say, the architecture – of each piece is so unusual and so beautiful, you just can’t unclasp them from your neck, slide them off your fingers, or put them down. . .

What was your New Years resolution?  If it was to get more serious with your honey (or spend more money), then you know where to go.
